Pass Plus Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Flintshire
Congratulations! You have passed your driving test, if you are looking for Pass Plus certification or wanting to see if there is anything you can do which will help you to be a better, safer driver in your first year of driving look no further.
What is Pass Plus?
Pass Plus is a scheme for those who have passed their driving test. The Pass Plus involves another set of driving lessons in the form of six specially designed driver training modules.
Pass Plus modules cover:
- In Town
- In all weather
- Out of Town
- At night
- On dual carriageways
- On Motorways
All you have to do is complete these modules and there is no test to take at the end of it!
Pass Plus Benefits:
Pass Plus is backed by insurance companies, Central Government and the Driving Standards Agency, making your car insurance costs considerably lower. You will also get experience of motorways and more advanced driving with the safety of an instructor. The Pass Plus scheme is designed to make you a better driver.
Pass Plus Insurance:
The Pass Plus scheme was set up in 1996 by a group of insurers who felt that newly qualified drivers would stand less chance of becoming involved in a road accident if they took further lessons after passing their practical test. Motor insurers that support the scheme will give you a no claims bonus for comprehensive, third party fire and theft and third party policies as soon as you insure your own car.
The saving could more than cover the cost of the extra lessons. You can defer the no-claims bonus for two years if you currently drive under someone else's policy.
This means that if you buy a car within two years of completing a Pass Plus course, and have not had any claims in the meantime, your first premium will be reduced by the extra no claim bonus.
